Bill is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is also a former accounting instructor at Golden West College, Coastline Community College, and California State University at Long Beach.
The Sells Award is presented to the top .2% ( one fifth of one percent ) scores for each CPA exam nationwide. William K Maxwell, is a recipient of the coveted "Sells Award". Not only was he amongst the .2% honored, Bill passed all four sections of the CPA exam on the first sitting (almost unheard of) and was the highest scorer (94%) on "Accounting Theory". What's more, Bill is a magna cum laude graduate, a Hawley scholar (at the University of Chicago Graduate School), and was voted Most Outstanding Accounting Student his senior year in college.
